Everything you need to know about day-of coordination
Day-of coordination (sometimes called month-of coordination) means I step in during the final weeks before your wedding to manage the logistics and timeline. On your wedding day, I'm there from start to finish to coordinate vendors, manage the timeline, handle any issues, and ensure everything runs smoothly. You've planned your wedding — I make sure it happens seamlessly.
I recommend booking as soon as you have your venue and date secured, even if that's 12+ months out. This ensures your date is available and gives us plenty of time to plan. However, I can accommodate bookings as late as 6-8 weeks before your wedding if my schedule allows.
A wedding planner is involved from the beginning, helping you choose vendors, create your vision, and manage your budget throughout the entire planning process. A day-of coordinator (that's me!) comes in after you've done the planning to execute your vision. I manage the logistics in the final weeks and coordinate everything on the wedding day itself.
The base package covers most weddings and includes everything listed on my Services page. The final price may vary based on factors like guest count, venue complexity, number of events (rehearsal dinner, brunch, etc.), and travel distance. After our consultation, I'll provide a custom quote for your specific wedding.
Yes! Rehearsal coordination is included in my package. I'll direct your rehearsal, ensuring your wedding party knows exactly where to stand, when to walk, and what to expect on the big day. This typically takes 1-2 hours the day before your wedding.
My package includes up to 10 hours of on-site coordination on your wedding day. This typically covers arrival before vendors for setup oversight through the end of your reception. Additional hours can be added if needed for your timeline.
I oversee and direct setup, ensuring everything is placed according to your vision. For simple items (place cards, favors, signage), I'm happy to help. However, extensive DIY décor setup requiring several hours may need additional coordination or a setup crew, which we can discuss during our planning meeting.
For weddings with 150+ guests or complex logistics (multiple locations, outdoor ceremonies, etc.), I bring an assistant coordinator to ensure seamless coverage. This is included when needed based on your wedding's requirements.
That's exactly what I'm there for! From missing deliveries to weather changes to vendor delays, I handle problems so you don't have to. Most issues are resolved before you even know there was one. My job is to be the calm problem-solver so you can enjoy your day.
After booking, you'll receive access to a client portal where you can share all your wedding details, vendor contacts, and timeline preferences. We'll have a planning meeting 4-6 weeks before your wedding, and I'm available via email and phone throughout the process.
Yes! I'm happy to coordinate weddings outside my immediate area. Travel fees apply for weddings more than 30 miles from my location. For destination weddings, let's chat about logistics and additional requirements.
Life happens, and I understand plans can change. My contract includes details about cancellation and refund policies based on timing. Generally, the retainer is non-refundable, but we can discuss date changes or postponements on a case-by-case basis.
